What we collect
RentReady is a server-rendered HTML site. We collect only what your browser sends with a normal page request: IP address, user-agent string, the page you requested, the page you came from (referrer), and the timestamp. These are stored in standard web-server access logs, retained for up to 30 days, and used to debug performance issues and detect abuse. We do not require an account to browse the site.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Some pages display advertising provided by Google AdSense or another comparable network; those services may set their own cookies to deliver and measure ads. You can manage advertising cookies through your browser's privacy controls or via Google's Ads Settings page.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which sections of the site visitors find useful. Where used, that tool collects aggregated, non-identifying data (page paths, country-level geo, device class, referrer). We do not link analytics data to any personally identifiable information.
Third-party advertising
If you see an advertisement on RentReady, it is delivered by an outside ad network. Those networks may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads relevant to your interests, measure effectiveness, and prevent fraud. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. Google AdSense's policy is available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
If you write to us at the address on our contact page, we'll keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to respond. We do not add senders to a marketing list.
Children
RentReady is intended for adult renters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Your choices
- You can browse the site without providing any personal information.
- You can block cookies and JavaScript in your browser; the site will still work.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices (U.S.) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- You can ask us by email to delete any correspondence we hold about you.
Changes
We update this page when we change how the site collects or uses information. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
